The Bruse Sauerland Skiteam is a newly founded professional team based on the Sauerland Skiteam, which was established in 2018 with the aim of creating a platform for skiers from the Sauerland region in western Germany. Bruse, our main sponsor, is a family-run manufacturer of water fittings from Attendorn in the heart of Sauerland. The company is a perfect match for our ambitions, as we have both regional roots and a love of sport in common.
The team's goal is to form a team of German and foreign athletes who all share the same passion for cross-country skiing and have the ambition to develop as far as possible alongside their full-time jobs. The experienced core of athletes we have already formed is the basis for building a platform for young skiers with cross-country ambitions in the long term. By participating in the Skiclassics series, we want to promote the beautiful Sauerland region with its great training opportunities for cross-country skiing all year round.
