This Swedish Pro Team has the reigning male Champion Emil Persson and the five-time female Champion Britta Johansson Norgren. Last season, Persson won four races and finished in the top-5 in every race while Johansson Norgren got severely injured after La Diagonela, which destroyed her chances to fight for the yellow bib. She showed some signs of things to come by finishing 4th at Tåssåsen Criterium 64.
Johansson Norgren is not the only candidate to win races as Thea Krokan Murud has been in great shape throughout the fall training season, and she finished Season XI with some extremely great results; 4th at Vasaloppet, 5th at Tåssåsen Criterium 64 and 3rd at Årefjällsloppet. Hanna Falk left the World Cup scene and sprint skiing behind and stepped into the long distance arena, and her performances in this summer’s Challengers roller-ski races were magnificent as she won Klarälvsloppet and Värnomorullen and finished second at Alliansloppet.
On the men’s side, Marcus Johansson is no stranger to podium, twice in Season X, but last winter his best result was 7th at Marcialonga. Runar Skaug Mathisen is a familiar fame in the Pro Tour, but he is still chasing the perfect day. He finished 8th at Marcialonga, but his results are quite uneven. The new kid in town, Eddie Edström, did two races last season, but he showed promise by finishing 4th at Värnamorullen, a Challengers roller-ski race, this fall.
