Team Ramudden's Max Novak was the fastest skier in today's 55 km roller-ski race at Toppidrettsvekan in Trondheim, Norway. He beat Sivert Wiig by seven seconds and Morten Eide Pedersen, Team Eksjöhus, was third 21 seconds behind the winner. Novak's winning time was 2.11.10.
Of Visma Ski Classics athletes, Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, was sixth 43.9 seconds behind the winner and Johannes Eklöf, Team Ramudden, was ninth 45,9 seconds behind his teammate Novak. The soon-to-be 49-year-old Anders Aukland, Team Ragde Charge, was 15, about a bit less than a minute behind Team Ramudden's winner.
The Norwegian cross-country ski stars Martin Johnsrud and Johannes Høstflot Klæbo were quite far behind the podium. Martin was 21st, about a minute behind the winner, and Johannes 28th less than two seconds behind Sundby.
In the women's race, last Saturday's podcast guest Astrid Øyre Slind, Team Koteng/Eidissen, won the race followed by Hedda Østberg Amundsen and Marit Bjørgen, Team Ragde Charge, respectively. Astrid was in a league of her own as she was 2.22 minutes faster than Hedda. Marit was 3.45 minutes behind the winner. Emilie Fleten, Team XPND Fuel of Norway, was fourth and Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden, fifth. Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team, did not have her best day as she was 11th and 16.23 minutes behind Astrid.
