Several Pro Teams strengthens their lineup in front of the last races of Season XI. Lager 157 Ski Team recruits Ebba Andersson, Team Koteng enhances the team with Jens Burman and Andrew Musgrave, and Team Ragde Eiendom picks William Poromaa and Emma Ribom. All of them with great results at the World Championships.
The World Cup season ended last weekend in Engadin, Switzerland, but some of the world cup skiers are eager to compete more and to race long distances.
It will be interesting to see them challenge Lina Korsgren and Emil Persson with the Yellow bibs, and the other long distance skiing stars in the coming weekend.
In Lager 157 Ski Team's black and white race suit, we will see the Swedish national team athlete Ebba Andersson. Ebba recently took two bronze medals at the World Championships in Oberstdorf. Vålådalsrennet will be her Visma Ski Classics debut.
Team Koteng recruits Swedish Jens Burman and British Andrew Musgrave. Burman was third at the 50 km world cup race in Engadin, and fifth at the 50 km at the World Championships. Also for Burman Vålådalsrennet will be his Visma Ski Classics debut. Musgrave, on the other hand, has done some previous Visma Ski Classics races and performed really well. In 2019, he finished fourth in Reistadløpet. He also finished ninth in Birkebeinerrennet back in 2016. At the 50 km at the World Championships Musgrave finished seventh.
Team Ragde Eiendom picks two young Swedes: William Poromaa. The 20-year-old finished ninth at both the Skiathlon and 15 km freestyle at the World Championships. He was also in twelfth place at 50 km. 23-year-old Emma Ribom, 14th at World Championships 30 km, also joins Team Ragde Eiendom.
