Engadin La Diagonela, the sixth event in Ski Classics Season XV, takes place this Saturday, January 20, in Switzerland. Now, all start times on Saturday are postponed by one hour. Read more below.
Ski Classics Season XV heads to Switzerland for another action-packed Pro Tour event with the renowned Engadin La Diagonela this weekend.
On Saturday, January 20, the spotlight falls on Engadin La Diagonela, a demanding 55-kilometer-long race held in the breathtaking Engadin Valley, starting in Pontresina and finishing in Zuoz. Renowned as Switzerland’s premier classic technique competition, this event marks the sixth event of Season XV.
Today, the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) of Engadin La Diagonela has decided to postpone all starts on Saturday by one hour. This includes not only the elite start for Ski Classics Pro Team athletes, but also recreational skiers and shorter distances held on Saturday.
The LOC believes this decision will provide all participants with a better and more pleasant experience and secure a great day on the tracks in the Engadin Valley for all. The ambition is to use the new start times also for upcoming editions of Engadin La Diagonela.
For Ski Classics Pro Team athletes starting in the elite wave, this means the following new start times:
- Men Start: 9:55 CET
- Women Start: 10:00 CET
