The Ski Classics Challengers event, Skinnarloppet, took place this Sunday with a 45km long-distance classic technique race in Malung, Sweden. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Sweden, Skinnarloppet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Vebjörn Moen, Team Eksjöhus, and Johanna Hagström, Ulricehamns IF, won their respective races with solid performances.
Skinnarloppet – Men’s Race
In the men’s event, the winner Vebjörn Moen, Team Eksjöhus, completed the race in a time of 1:52:02.3.
Bruno Dettmann, The Youth Team/Orsa SK, finished in second place, 1.9 seconds behind, followed by Gabriel Strid, Team GS8, completing the podium in third position and 2.9 seconds back.

Skinnarloppet – Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Johanna Hagström, Ulricehamns IF, with a total time of 2:12:44.3.
Moa Hansson, Ski Team Göhlins, finished in second place, 1.9 seconds, followed by Stina Nilsson, Team Ragde Charge, 5.7 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

As the Skinnarloppet 45km classic is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team-registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
