This winter was the most successful and eventful season in the Visma Ski Classics pro tour so far. The Season IX brought us 12 extremely suspenseful events all around Europe, and each one of them offered breathtaking action, spine-tingling drama and blockbuster entertainment. Tomorrow at 10 am CET, Kanal 9 in Sweden will air a special highlight program depicting the greatest moments of the thrilling Season IX.
On this special program, you will see how Team BN Bank dominated in the early season, how Petter Eliassen returned from his retirement and became the comeback king, how Britta Johansson Norgren and Astrid Øyre Slind went neck and neck against each other throughout the season, how Team Koteng organized a tactical move that took our breath away and how Andreas Nygaard rose to the occasion and finally dethroned his teammate and became the king of the sport.
If the Season IX was the greatest success in Visma Ski Classics’ history, the next season promises to be even more riveting as it is the 10th anniversary season. The Season X calendar will be announced on Wednesday next week, May 15.
