The Ski Classics Challengers event, Raiffeisen Gastein Classics, took place this Saturday afternoon with a 30km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Sportgastein, Austria. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Austria, Raiffeisen Gastein Classics, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Josua Strübel, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, and Petra Tanner, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, won their respective races with solid performances.
Raiffeisen Gastein Classics – Men’s Race
In the men’s event, the winner Josua Strübel, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, completed the race in a time of 1:22:05.4.
Dario Cologna finished in second place, 4.1 seconds behind, followed by Valerii Gontar, Nordijsko Sportno drustvo Medvode, completing the podium in third position and 47.8 seconds back.

Raiffeisen Gastein Classics – Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Petra Tanner, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, with a total time of 1:44:45.7.
Laura Groiss, Ski-Willy Marathon Team Austria, finished in second place, 5:49.3 back, followed by Tosca de Wit, Team SLT, 7:50.7 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
