The Ski Classics Challengers event, La Sfida, took place this Sunday with a shortened 24km long-distance skiing race in freestyle technique in Zuoz, Switzerland. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Switzerland, La Sfida, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Guro Jordheim, Team Aker Dæhlie, and Markus Vuorela, Team Mäenpää, won their respective races with solid performances.
La Sfida – 24km Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Guro Jordheim, Team Aker Dæhlie, completing the event in a total time of 1:01:35.7.
Aurelia-Maxima Katharina Janzen finished in second place, 7:27.1 back, followed by Ingeborg Kristensen Hoftun, Danish Ski Marathon Team, 8:23.1 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
