The Ski Classics Challengers event, Alutaguse Marathon, took place this Saturday with a 43km long-distance skiing race in classic technique in Vasavere, Estonia. Check out the results.
After a day of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Estonia, the Alutaguse Marathon, saw a fierce battle for the podium places. Stian Hoelgaard, Team Aker Dæhlie, and Tatjana Mannima, Suusasemud I, won their respective races with solid performances.
Alutaguse Marathon – 43km Men’s Race
In the men’s competition, the winner was Stian Hoelgaard, Team Aker Dæhlie, with a total time of 1:46:06.0.
Marko Kilp, Võru Suusaklubi, finished in second place, 1:03.0 seconds back, followed by Henri Roos, Team Fikala Evecon, 1:58.0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

Alutaguse Marathon – 43km Women’s Race
In the women’s event, the winner, Tatjana Mannima, Suusasemud I, completed the race in a time of 2:01:40.0.
Merilin Jürisaar, Team Nordic Expérience, finished in second place, 2:23.0 behind, followed by Aveli Uustalu, Alutaguse Suusaklubi, completing the podium in third position and 4:03.0 back.

As the Alutaguse Marathon is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
