Tanumsloppet, a Ski Classics Challengers event, took place this Saturday, with a 40km roller ski race in classic technique in Tanumshede, Sweden. Get to know the results.
After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Tanumsloppet saw Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team/IK Stern, and Thomas Gifstad, Rustad IL, winning their respective races.
Tanumsloppet – Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Karolina Hedenström, Lager 157 Ski Team/IK Stern, with a total time of 1:41:25.0.
Hilda Löf, Ski Team Göhlins/XC Sthlm Ski Club, finished in second place, 5:07.0 back, followed by Linn Sömskar, IFK Umeå SK, 5:07.1 behind the winner, and completing the podium in the third position.

Tanumsloppet – Men’s Race
In the men’s race, the winner was Thomas Gifstad, Rustad IL, completing the race at a time of 1:30:33.0.
Gabriel Strid, Team GS8, finished in second place, 0.1 seconds back, followed by Alfred Buskqvist, Team Ramudden/IK Stern, completing the podium in the third position and 2.0 seconds behind the winner.

As Tanumsloppet is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
