The reigning Champion of Visma Ski Classics Andreas Nygaard turns 29 today. We wish him a happy birthday, we will see him in full action next week when the Prologue events take place in Livigno. Nygaard started his racing season in Olos, Finland, last weekend when he participated in a 10 km classic race and finished about 2 minutes behind the winner Iivo Niskanen. Last season, he won three stages in the Pro Tour: La Diagonela, Jizerska 50 and Ylläs-Levi.
