The Kangaroo Hoppet, part of the Ski Classics Challengers series, took place on Saturday with a 42km freestyle long-distance race in Falls Creek, Australia. Get to know the results.
After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event Kangaroo Hoppet saw Rosie Fordham and Phillip Bellingham winning their respective races.
Kangaroo Hoppet – Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Rosie Fordham, with a total time of 1:40:41.5.
Maddie Hooker finished in second place, 10:28.1 back, followed by Katerina Paul, Team BSV IBEX, 14:39.8 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third position.

Kangaroo Hoppet – Men’s Race
In the men’s race, the winner was Phillip Bellingham, completing the race at a time of 1:32:55.7.
Seve de Campo finished in second place, 8.6 seconds back, followed by Bentley Walker-Broose, completing the podium in the third position and 4:36.1 behind the winner.

As the Kangaroo Hoppet 42km is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
