Hautdoubsloppet becomes part of the Ski Classics Challengers circuit with a 42km long-distance roller ski race in classic technique, taking place on July 26, 2026, in Oye-et-Pallet, France.
Now in its second edition, the event expands across two iconic locations in the Haut-Doubs region.
Les Grangettes hosts a classic technique sprint race on Saturday, July 25, while Oye-et-Pallet is the venue for Sunday’s races, held on a course running along the shores of the scenic Lake Saint-Point. Roads along the course will be fully closed to traffic to ensure safe and optimal racing conditions.
Sunday’s program features two races on the demanding course along the shores of the scenic Lake Saint-Point: a 20km race (with a 10km neutral start + 20km) and the 42km Challengers event.
The weekend program extends beyond competition: a social evening with food, entertainment, and activities is planned for Saturday night, bringing together athletes, teams, and spectators in a festive setting.
To attract a strong elite field, the organization is introducing a prize money package for this edition, adding to the event’s appeal for top-level athletes.
“It is a great opportunity for our club to organize this event with the expertise of Thomas Joly,” said the Local Organizing Committee, and added:
“We are truly happy and proud to be able to offer this weekend of competition in our magnificent Haut-Doubs playground and around the iconic Lake Saint-Point.”
