Craft Ski Marathon is, for many Swedish recreational skiers, the kick-off for the race season, taking place at the beginning of January.
The event attracts 800-900 skiers yearly, with recreational and professional skiers on the starting line.
The event for the season 2025/2026 is taking place on Sunday, January 11, and the Ski Classics Challengers race is 42km long in classic technique. If the full marathon distance is too much, skiers can also choose to start in the 21km event.
The start and finish are at the Grönklitt ski metropolis, just 10km away from Mora, famous for the finish of Vasaloppet.
