Ski Classics is the leading event brand within long distance skiing. The Ski Classics Pro Tour is the international long distance ski championship for Pro Teams. It is limited to 13 events per season and has high demand on the TV production of each event. The Ski Classics Challengers series will give the opportunity to an unlimited number of events to be part of the Ski Classics family. Incentives are set in order to make Pro Team skiers also compete in the Challengers events to collect important points and increase their SC ranking. Events may move between the Pro Tour and the Challengers series creating a dynamic calendar. Being a part of the Challengers series give the events access to the Ski Classics marketing channels and increasing the international awareness.
All the Challengers events are presented on www.skiclassics.com to promote the events. Live streams and highlights will be published in Ski Classics channels. Ski Classics content managers will post news and information from the Challengers events.
Challengers events send live results to Ski Classics database by API which are then visible in the Live Centre and in Results on skiclassics.com.
