ED System Bauer Team has signed a Russian athlete to fortify their ranks at Jizerska Padesatka. This season, Ilia Poroshkin, 24, has competed in several World Cup stages including the races in Ruka, Lillehammer, Davos and Planica. His personal best is 20th place in 15 km classic race in Ruka in November, and he also finished second at the World Championships in roller-skiing last summer. In January, he performed really well in selected ski races in Russia, and he will be a strong reinforcement in Lukas Bauer's Pro Team that seeks greater success on their home turf.
