The Ski Classics Challengers event Ring Frei, a long-distance roller ski race in freestyle technique, took place today in Salzburg, Austria. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event, Ring Frei, saw Florian Döringer, Cibes Lift Ski-Willy Marathon Team, and Eva Trigler, Sk Saalfelden, win the event with solid performances.
Ring Frei – Men’s Race
In the men’s 42km competition, the winner was Florian Döringer, Cibes Lift Ski-Willy Marathon Team, with a total time of 1:16:08.5.
Kristo Tuvi, HSV Hochfilzen, finished in second place, 3:06.2 behind, followed by Bruno Briker, Team Kästle, 4:09.9 back, and completing the podium in the third position.

Ring Frei – Women’s Race
In the women’s 30km race, Eva Trigler, Sk Saalfelden, won with a total time of 56:01.4.
Christina Döringer, Cibes Lift Ski-Willy Marathon Team, finished in second place, just 0.1 seconds back. Cecil Kümpel, Cibes Lift Ski-Willy Marathon Team, finished in third place, 0.2 seconds behind the winner.
