The Ski Classics Challengers event, Marcia Gran Paradiso, took place this Sunday with a 40km long-distance skiing race in classic technique at Cogne, Italy. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Italy, Marcia Gran Paradiso, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Francesco De Fabiani, Centro Sportivo Esercito, and Chiara Caminada, Sci Club Valle Ellero, won their respective races with solid performances.
Marcia Gran Paradiso – Men
In the men’s event, the winner, Francesco De Fabiani, Centro Sportivo Esercito, completed the race in a time of 1:55:43.0.
Wladimir Cuaz, Sci Club Gruppo Sportivo VV.F.G. Godioz, finished in second place, 3:30.0 behind, followed by François Viérin, Sci Club Gran San Bernardo, completing the podium in third position and 5:37.0 back.

Marcia Gran Paradiso – Women
In the women’s competition, the winner was Chiara Caminada, Sci Club Valle Ellero, completing the event in a total time of 2:21:45.0.
Amalia Laurent, Sci Club Gressoney Monte Rosa, finished in second place, 6:00.0 back, followed by Anais Segor, 8:40.0 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.
