Team Mäenpää united with Team Nordic Athlete for the past season, but now the Finnish Pro Team is on its own again. The team is now getting a familiar face who returns to the ranks. Christoffer Lindvall took a two-year hiatus from Visma Ski Classics, but he is now an official member of Team Mäenpää once again.
This 28-year-old skier has participated in 14 Pro Tour events, and his best result is 39th. He also finished third at Red Bull Nordenskiöldsloppet in 2017 after Andreas Nygaard and Øyvind Moen Fjeld.
“It so much fun to wear Visma Ski Classics racing bibs again after two years. I’m honored to be part of this great team that is really strong both in the men and women’s categories. My training has gone well, and my body has been quite receptive,” Lindvall says eagerly.
The team manager Kim Mäenpää is happy to have Lindvall back, and he believes that his team is on the right track towards the winter.
“We are really looking forward to the new season, and now when we have Christoffer back, we are ready. Christoffer is a strong double-poler and a good sprinter,” Mäenpää states confidently.
The other team members in Team Mäenpää are as follows:
- Anne Kyllönen
- Julia Häger
- Viktor Mäenpää
- Hannes Mäenpää
- Hans Mäenpää
