The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Les Belles Combes is a 42km long-distance race in classic technique and takes place this Sunday, January 23, in Les Moussières, France.
Situated in the middle of the Haut Jura Nature Parc, the course takes place in the magical ‘Haute Combes,’ offering tracks through beautiful landscapes, only one hour drive from Geneva, Switzerland, and 1.5 hours from France’s cities Lyon, Annecy, and Besançon.
The event has over 35 years of tradition. With exceptional snow conditions in the area and perfectly groomed tracks, the Organizing Committee is ready to welcome recreational and Pro skiers alike.
“Despite health restrictions, all factors are met to have a great race: good weather and snow conditions, motivated volunteers, and great athletes of all levels,” says Kirsten De Stryker, Les Belles Combes Manager and Event Coordinator.
Les Belles Combes also offers freestyle techniques of 11 and 30km, an untimed event of 11km on Saturday, and classic technique distances of 11 and 21km on Sunday.
