The Visma Ski Classics Challengers event Kuzbass Classic Marathon is a 30km long-distance race in classic technique and takes place this Saturday, February 26, in Topki, Kuzbass.
Kuzbass Classic Marathon is the first long-distance cross-country skiing race in classic technique in Kuzbass. The race will be held along the frozen waters of the Belovsky Sea and its environments, and the local organizing committee promises an exciting and beautiful race.
Kuzbass is the outpost of the Siberian conquest, the coal heart of the country. The lion’s share of Russian coal is mined there, where the most rugged miners in the world live. You can admire Kuzbass nature in all its diversity, mountain ranges, and Siberian alpine meadows covered with white snow on the way to the event.
You will be charmed by the variety of colors of Siberian nature and inspired to come back again and again.
