Oskar Kardin, Team Ragde Eiendom, and Britta Johansson Norgren, Lager 157 Ski Team show form directly when many long-distance skiers made the season premiere in Orsa Grönklitt, Sweden.
”Långsloppspremiären” in Grönklitt was 39 kilometers via a lap course of 2.6 kilometers. Oskar Kardin won the men's class ten seconds ahead of Max Novak, Team Ramudden, and eleven seconds ahead of Øyvind Moen Fjeld, Lager 157 Ski Team.
“It was during the last 7 kilometers that the trio came loose and then fought for the victory, ”says Anton Järnberg, Lager 157 Ski Teams manager.
4:th was Andreas Holmberg, Lager 157 Ski Team 1.32 behind Kardin. 5:th and 6:th became Emil Persson, Lager 157 Ski Team and Tom Fahlén, Landsbro IF, three minutes behind the winner.
Yesterday Visma Ski Classics released new rankings, MyPages SC Ranking, where Britta Johansson is #1 just before #2 , the Norwegian skier Tord Asle Gjerdalen, Team Ragde Eiendom. Today, she showed in Grönklitt that her shape is already good for the upcoming season.
Britta won two minutes ahead of Lina Korsgren, Team Ramudden. Laila Kveli, Team Engcon, was close to five minutes behind in third place.
“It was a pretty tough race over almost 40 km. That was exactly what we wanted for the athletes,” says Anton Järnberg.
