Ida Dahl is officially coming back. After taking time away from racing to recover from a difficult period, the Swedish Ski Classics Legend is set to return to the Ski Classics Pro Tour — with full backing from Team Engcon.
Dahl, a former overall Ski Classics Champion and one of the most successful athletes of recent seasons, has spent the past months rebuilding her health and motivation. Despite stepping away from competition, she remained close to Team Engcon, joining light training activities and staying connected with the group throughout her recovery.
Now, it’s confirmed that she is set to return to racing this weekend at the Bad Gastein premiere, as she has registered for the Bad Gastein Pro Team Tempo on Saturday, December 13, 2025. Her comeback brings renewed strength to an already powerful Team Engcon lineup and adds excitement to the women’s field ahead of Season XVII.
Ski Classics CEO Oskar Svärd welcomes her return:
“We are very happy to see that Ida is doing well again. She is an important part of our Tour, both as an athlete and as an inspiration for many. Having her back on the start line is fantastic for the entire Ski Classics community.”
For fans and the entire skiing community, Ida Dahl’s return marks one of the most inspiring storylines of the season — a reminder of resilience, patience, and the power of a supportive team environment.
