Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, won the 54-kilometer-long Birkebeinerrennet today from Rena to Lillehammer in Norway.
Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, won the Ski Classics event Birkebeinerrennet with a powerful sprint finish. Nygaard completed the twelfth stage of Ski Classics and the fourth and final Grand Classics event Season XIV in a total time of 2:24:58.4.
Second place, after a tight fight to the line, went to Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, 0.1 seconds back. A remarkable performance from Runar Skaug Mathisen, Lager 157 Ski Team, granted him the third position on the podium, 0.2 seconds behind the winner.
