Ski Classics Grand Finale: Janteloppet on Saturday, April 13, will end Ski Classics Season XV. Four Pro Team Directors have been nominated for the award of Best Pro Team Director of the Season.
The award recognizes Pro Team Directors with extraordinary directorial skills, unwavering dedication, and unconditional love for long-distance skiing, working in the right way to develop Ski Classics.
“The 35 Pro Team Directors all do a fantastic job, often behind the scenes, not only to ensure the Pro Team athletes perform at their best but also to grow the sport. The Pro Team Director of the Season Award is not automatically handed out to the Director of the winning team. The four nominees for Season XV are all potential award winners!” says David Nilsson, Director of Ski Classics.
The Pro Team Director who receives the award is automatically elected to the Ski Classics Hall of Fame, together with the Ski Classics Legends, the athletes who have won five events or more. The winner will be announced after the season’s final event, Janteloppet, on Saturday, April 13.
