GVD Ski Team, the Norwegian Pro Team formerly known as Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV, enters Season XVIII with six athletes, three women and three men, and two new arrivals from the disbanded Team Eksjöhus.
The team carried the Kaffebryggeriet name for years before joining forces with DRIV. It is led by Pro Team Director Matias Noren, with Vetle Thyli, its most experienced athlete. Thyli and Henrik Haugland Syverinsen continue, while Ilona Jambor competes in the Vet category.
Magni Smedås is a Ski Classics Legend with five Pro Tour wins: Marcialonga and Jizerská 50 in 2023, and Engadin La Diagonela, Birkebeinerrennet and Summit 2 Senja in 2024. She made an immediate impact in her new colors, winning the Ski Classics Challengers event Energamo Lipnolopet on October 3 in a course record, a year after Sandra Schützová took the same victory for the team. Schützová has since moved to Team Burger King Northug.

Jeremy Royer, the French skier who won the Youth competition in Season XVI, took his first Pro event podium last winter with second place at Engadin La Diagonela, 0.6 seconds behind Amund Riege. He has set himself a clear goal for the new season: to win a Ski Classics World Championship event and finish on the podium at one of the four Grand Classics.
