The Ski Classics Challengers event, Västgötaloppet Classic, took place this Sunday with a 42km long-distance classic skiing race in Ulricehamn, Sweden. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, one of the Ski Classics Challengers events in Sweden, Västgötaloppet Classic, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Malte Jutterdal, Falun-Borlänge SK, and Emma Bengtsson, Ulricehamns IF Skidor, won their respective races with solid performances.
Västgötaloppet Classic – 42km Men’s Race
In the men’s event, the winner, Malte Jutterdal, Falun-Borlänge SK, completed the race in a time of 1:38:08.0.
Leo Johansson, Falun Borlänge SK, finished in second place, with the same time, followed by Andreas Svensson, Ulricehamns IF, who completed the podium in third, 3:47.0 back.

Västgötaloppet Classic – 42km Women’s Race
In the women’s competition, the winner was Emma Bengtsson, Ulricehamns IF Skidor, completing the event in a total time of 2:03:10.0.
Klara Yngvesson, DP ONLY Ski Club, finished in second place, 1.0 seconds back, followed by Emma Musslinder, Falköpings Aik Skidor, 27.0 seconds behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

As Västgötaloppet Classic 42km is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team-registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
