The SC Ranking saw many changes after Engadin La Diagonela last weekend. Here is an overview of the updated ranking.

After Engadin La Diagonela, the third Pro Tour event of Ski Classics Season XVII, Emilie Fleten, Team Ramudden, keeps the lead of the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance skiers, with 26.115.899 points.

In the SC Ranking, the global ranking system for long-distance cross-country skiers, Emilie Fleten is now followed by Anikken Gjerde Alnæs, Team Engcon, in second place, with 24.996.433 points. Johan Hoel, Team Ragde Charge, is in third place with 24.756.466 points.

In the top 10, Stina Nilsson, Team Ragde Charge, is in 5th place (from 11th) with 24.362.700; Andreas Nygaard, Team Ragde Charge, climbs to 6th place (from 7th) with 24.266.045 points; and Ole Jørgen Bruvoll, Team Engcon, is in 8th place (from 9th) with 24.164.614 points

After Engadin La Diagonela, the Top 10 includes three Pro Team athletes from Sweden and seven from Norway.

Top 20

Notable in the top 20 is that Amund Hoel, Team Engcon, is moving up from 13^th to 12^th place; Johan Tjelle, Team Engcon, from 15^th to 14^th position; Amund Riege, Team Aker Dæhlie, from 18^th to 16th position; Petter Stakston, Team Aker Dæhlie, from 19^th to 18^th place; Jeremy Royer, Team Eksjöhus, from 21^st to 19^th position; and Magnus Vesterheim, Team Ramudden, from 22^nd to 20th place.

Top 50

Athletes stepping up inside the top 50: Einar Kalland-Olsen, Lager 157 Ski Team (from 28^th to 24^th); Alfred Buskqvist, Team Ramudden (from 29^th to 25^th); Fredrik Helgestad, Team Kaffebryggeriet DRIV (from 33^rd to 30^th); and Hanna Loding, Team Engcon (from 36^th to 33^rd).

Moving up also EliasAndersson, Ski Team Göhlins (from 40^th to 38^th); Anton Elvseth, Team Engcon (from 45^th to 44^th); Hedda Bångman, Team Burger King Northug (from 48^th to 45^th); Simon Vuillet, Team Slavia Pojišťovna Robinson Trentino (from 53^rd to 47^th); and Juuso Mäkelä, Cibes Lift Ski-Willy Marathon Team (52^nd to 50^th).

Top 100

Pro Team athletes moving up inside the top 100, five or more positions: Miro Karppanen, Team Edux (85^th to 78^th); Erik Ola Jorde, Team Aktiv Mot Kreft (84^th to 79^th); Anja Stolpe, The Youth Team (90^th to 83^rd); and Michaela Patscheider, Team Slavia Pojišťovna Robinson Trentino (91^st to 85^th).

Moving up also Ivar Andre Ryttervold, Team Andiamo Fleischer Finans (99^th to 90^th); Magnus Waaler, Team Burger King Northug (97^th to 91^st); and Laurie Flochon Joly, Team Futura GTE Trentino (102^nd to 93^rd).

Get to know how the SC Ranking system works!

The SC Ranking points are calculated on the percentual time as the skier is behind the winning time in their gender with an exponential drop of points. This makes it possible to create one single ranking for both women and men, professional and recreational skiers.

Each skier can include results from their best 12 races within 24 months. The woman or man with the most points will have the #1 rank. In a Ski Classics Pro Tour event, the winning woman and man receive 2.000.000 points; in a Challengers event, the winners collect 500.000 points.

For the Pro Team athletes, Podium Bonus Points are also awarded to the top three skiers in each gender. A Pro Tour event winner gets 200.000 points, 2nd place brings 100.000 points, and 3rd place awards 40.000 points.
