The Ski Classics Challengers event, Moraloppet, took place this Saturday with a 42km long-distance classic technique race from Oxberg to Mora, Sweden. Check out the results.
After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers event in Sweden, Moraloppet, saw a fierce battle for all the podium places. Ultimately, Ida Palmberg, Högbo GIF, and Alfred Nilsson, Filipstads SF, won their respective races with solid performances.
Moraloppet – Women
In the women’s competition, Ida Palmberg, Högbo GIF, was the winner, completing the event in 1:49:02.9.
Tova Andersson, Team Ramudden, finished in second place, 2:42.7 back, followed by Madelene Nord, Bruse Sauerland Ski Team/DPONLY Ski Club, 3:28.7 behind the winner, and completing the podium in third place.

In the men’s event, the winner, Alfred Nilsson, Filipstads SF, completed the race at a time of 1:38:33.2.
Viktor Norberg, Falun Borlänge SK, finished in second place, 0.9 seconds behind, followed by Oskar Flygare, Offerdal, completing the podium in third position and 1.1 seconds back.

As Moraloppet 42km is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes could collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
