The ProAm League is a Ski Classics ProAm competition for recreational skiers who are NOT registered in a Ski Classics Pro Team. It allows skiers from around the world to create their own ProAm teams and compete against each other throughout the Ski Classics season.
Results from all Ski Classics Pro Tour and Challenger events count towards the ProAm League digital standings. Read below instructions and if you get problems please contact memberservices@wsportsmedia.com.
Season XVII
- The ProAm League starts the 1st of January 2026
- The League ends with the last Pro Tour event of the season – Grand Finale Summit 2 Senja. Note! To register in the Grand Finale event, a qualification during the season is required. How to Qualify.
How to create a ProAm team
- A ProAm team may include up to 5 skiers
- ProAm teams can mix genders
- Each skier may join only one ProAm team
- No ProAm team changes of skiers are allowed during the season
Important
- Athletes registered in a Ski Classics Pro Team are not eligible for ProAm teams
- If a ProAm team skier later is registered as a Pro Team athlete during the season:
– all points already earned remain with the ProAm team
– the skier is automatically removed from the ProAm team after their first Pro Tour race
Points Calculation
Points are based on SC Ranking points (see explanation below), adjusted to balance Pro Tour and Challenger events:
- Pro Tour events: points are divided by two (×0.5)
- Challenger events: points stay the same
Example
- Pro Tour event winner:
– Standard SC Ranking: 2,000,000 points
– ProAm League: 1,000,000 points - Challenger event winner:
– Standard SC Ranking: 500,000 points
– ProAm League: 500,000 points
Registration and Points
- Points count only from the day the ProAm team is registered
- Skiers earn points for a ProAm team from the day they accept the team invitation
- Note! To be found in the skier search list when putting together your ProAm team, the skier had to be connected to ski Classics database.
SC Ranking
The SC ranking is a live updated international ranking, unique in combining women and men, pro- and recreational skiers in one single list! The universal SC Ranking is based on the individual’s time in relation to the winner of their gender. This makes it possible to create one single ranking for both women and men, pro- and recreational skiers. Each skier include the results from his or her best 12 races within 24 months.
