Vaajmarathon 2025
The Ski Classics Challengers event, Vaajmarathon, took place last Saturday with a 43km long-distance roller ski race in classic technique in the Norwegian-Swedish border, from Mebygda, Norway, to Rötviken, Sweden. Check out the results.

After a day full of action, the Ski Classics Challengers Vaajmarathon event saw Edvin Anger, Åsarna IK, and Sofie Elebro Lind, Team Eksjöhus, win the race with solid performances.
Vaajmarathon Men’s Race
In the men’s competition, the winner was Edvin Anger, Åsarna IK, with a total time of 1:30:20.5.
Gustaf Berglund, IFK Mora SK, finished in second place, 2.0 seconds behind, followed by Hjalmar Oscarsson, Team Ramudden, 27.2 seconds back, and completing the podium in the third position.

Vaajmarathon Women’s Race
In the women’s race, Sofie Elebro Lind, Team Eksjöhus, won with a total time of 1:49:24.6.
Maja Furunäs, IFK Grängesberg SK, finished in second place and 5:55.2 back. Johanne Bjugan, Leksdal IL, 7:57.4 behind, finished in third place.

As the Vaajmarathon is a Ski Classics Challengers event, Pro Team registered athletes can collect points for the Ski Classics Champion and Youth competitions in their respective genders.
