The Sprint and Climb competitions start here with several chances to collect valuable points for the season. For the Champion competition, the standard points will apply, but for the Sprint and Climb competitions skiers will get 50% of the standard points.
Orsa Grönklitt is located about 30 kilometers north from Mora, the finish town of Vasaloppet. It is a popular winter sports resort with well-groomed cross-country ski tracks through beautiful forests and downhill slopes of all difficulty levels. Moreover, visitors have a chance to ski next to Polar bears, tigers or some of the other non-hibernating predators in the ”Orsa bear-park”. In the summer, one can enjoy the beauty of the nature by trail-running, mountain-biking, paddling on Rädsjön and just relaxing in the midst of the Swedish wonderland.
