The former French Ski Classics Pro Team athlete Roxane Lacroix new Event Supervisor for Ski Classics. She has a long resumé when it comes to Ski Classics. Birkebeinerrennet back in 2016 was her entry event into the Pro Tour and 2018 became her first season skiing a majority of the events in the Pro Tour. She was in the Czech Pro Team- Bauer Ski Team the first years and in the later ones the French Team Nordic Experiénce. Roxane ended her career with Årefjällsloppet in 2021, becoming her greatest season with an overall 7th place in the champion competition.
“We are thrilled to have Roxane back in the Pro Tour as a part of the crew during the XV season of Ski Classics. In this role she will be a supervisor to the local events organizations, making sure the Ski Classics arena is built up according to guidelines. She will additionally work together with providers and the rest of SC crew on site making sure everything is in place at the arena, in the TV compound and in SC Plaza so we can go live at race day. To have former athletes part of Ski Classics is a way for us to make sure the project is developing in the right direction over time.” Says David Nilsson Director of Ski Classics.
