First Visma Ski Classics Challengers event in France had as winners the Pro Tour athletes Alexis Jeannerod, ED System Bauer Team and Céline Chopard Lallier, Team Nordique Crédit Agricole Franche Comté.
With 35 years of experience, Les Belles Combes took place today with a 40km race in classic technique in the village of Les Moussières, situated in the middle of the Haut Jura Nature Parc, France.
In the women’s race, the competition was arduous and with a beautiful battle between the skiers. Pro Tour athlete Céline Chopard Lallier, Team Nordique Crédit Agricole Franche Comté finished the race in first place with a time of 2:00:50, followed by Laurie Flochon-Joly in second place and Jennifer Lambert completing the podium in third place.
In the men’s race, Pro Tour athlete and event ambassador Alexis Jeannerod, ED System Bauer Team, gave no chance to the opponents and finished the race first in 1:35:45, with more than 25 seconds in front of the second and third places. Emilien Louvrier sprinted for second position and Pro Tour athlete Thomas Chambellant, E-Liberty Ski Team, completed the podium in third place.
