This Pro Team comes from Germany, and there are some familiar faces on the team. There are five skiers carrying the Bruse Sauerland Ski Team flag, of which three are from Germany and two from Sweden.

Tobias Hartig, Patrick Ottilinger, and Benjamin Selter have raced in many Pro Tour events over the years. Last season, Tobias was close to the top 100 at Marcialonga by finishing 114th, and at Pustertaler Ski Marathon, he let 77 skiers finish before him. Patrick was quite active last season, and he finished five Pro Tour events taking home the following places: Pustertaler Ski Marathon 76th, Marcialonga 110th, Jizerská50 63rd, Vasaloppet 145th, and Ylläs-Levi 110th. Benjamin completed three Pro Tour events and kept quite the same pace as Patrick: Engadin La Diagonela 88th, Jizerská50 64th, and Vasaloppet 132nd.  

The two Swedish female athletes on this team are no strangers to long-distance skiing. Jenny Ramstedt is a master skier whose best result from last season is 39th place at Engadin La Diagonela, while Anna Lindgren finished 42nd at Vasaloppet. Anna has also participated twice in the longest cross-country ski race in the world, Red Bull Nordenskiöldsloppet, 220 km, where she finished in the top 5 both times.

This Pro Team will not reach the top in Ski Classics, but that is not even their goal. They all want to raise the bar individually and enjoy the perks that only long-distance skiing can offer. And that is a grand goal for anyone with a passion for cross-country skiing.
