Lapponia Ski Week, a three-stage Ski Classics Challengers event, had its second stage today with a 50km long-distance race in freestyle technique in Finland. Get to know the winners of Stage 2.
After a long day of action on Stage 2, the Ski Classics Challengers event, Lapponia Ski Week, saw Josefiina Böök, Matti Böök Oy, and Lauri Vuorinen, Rovaniemi, win the race with outstanding performances.
Lapponia Ski Week – Stage 2 – Women’s Race
In the women’s race, Josefiina Böök, Matti Böök Oy, with a time of 2:19:56.6, won ahead of Katariina Lonka, Isometsä Training, in second place and 15.8 seconds back.
Third place went to Anna-Kaisa Saari, Suomen Konetalo Oy, 37.7 seconds behind the winner.

Lapponia Ski Week – Stage 2 – Men’s Race
In the men’s competition, stage 2, the winner was Lauri Vuorinen, Rovaniemi, with a time of 2:09:18.5.
Ristomatti Hakola, Jämin Jänne, finished in second place, 0.3 seconds back, followed by Markus Vuorela, Jämin Jänne, completing the podium in third position and 5.8 seconds behind the winner.
