The world has faced an unprecedented crises as the COVID-19 pandemic has spread all over the planet, but many of us are putting their time for good use. Some get innovative and come up with new ideas, others go out and keep themselves fit and many spend quality time with their families.
Team Ragde Eiendom's Pro Athletes Anders Aukland and Joar Thele decided to ski 321 kilometers in one day in Nordmarka, Norway. Their journey took 17 hours and 51 minutes, and they wanted to do something special since the Visma Ski Classics Pro Tour season was over, and they felt that there was still some gas left in their tanks.
"It went surprisingly well," Aukland admitted after the long day. "I got a bit thirsty at the end. This was no record breaking attempt, just a nice day on skis surrounded by the beautiful nature of Nordmarka."
Aukland is certainly used to extreme challenges as he and his brother Jørgen embarked on a week long expedition in Greenland two years ago. You can read about that extraordinary ordeal at:
