The Challenger Alliansloppet is finally canceled.
“The restrictions still in place in Sweden do not permit us to organize Alliansloppet Rollerski in good conditions,” says Baptiste Noel, Project Leader Alliansloppet.
Baptiste Noel continues:
“We have tried our best to find a safe solution to organize the event and gain some time by postponing it until October. Unfortunately, we cannot offer you a safe and fun event in the actual conditions. At the end of August, the events that we have organized in Trollhättan during Alliansloppet Action Week gathered less than 50 athletes and were forbidden to the public. Then, it feels impossible to safely organize an event that gathers hundreds of participants and the public.”
“We are already turned towards 2021 with the high hope that the situation will get better and we will be able to welcome you in Trollhättan for a real sports celebration.”
